Heiko Matting  is head, arms and legs of 360.maschinenfilm. Since studying art at the HdK (now UdK) Berlin in the 1990s, he has been working in the film industry, but for more than 10 years in the highly specialized field of motion control photography. He serves and supervizes camera robots that perform computer-controlled highly complex shots (therefore maschinenfilm). The spectrum of application ranges from elaborate advertising production to German and international cinema films to artistically (and budgetarily) ambitious music videos. The complexity of the matter implies that even advanced digital production techniques such as 3D and compositing belong to the portfolio. And, of course, watching how international masters of their profession- DOPs and directors- do their work is immensely educational. In the meantime, a lot of technical and visual know-how from the hi-tech world of film has found its way into his own creative, photographic work and thus into the projects of 360.maschinenfilm.

In the area of panoramic photography, he is explicitly interested in creating an all-around world that integrates people into their environment and thus, in a very contemporary way, telling their stories.

360.maschinenfilm cooperates project-related with various, specialized and qualified freelancers as well as external service providers of confidence.
